Our vision

Futureneers exists to transform STEM education access across South Australia. Our vision is a state where postcode, gender, socioeconomic status, and learning differences no longer determine which children get access to quality robotics and STEM programs.

We use robotics and emerging technology as the vessel, not the destination. The real goal is building the dispositions every child needs for a future none of us can fully predict yet, curiosity, problem solving, and the resilience to keep going when the first attempt doesn't work. Every child deserves the chance to think critically, solve problems, and step confidently into a future that's being built right now.

How we are doing it

Making programs affordable and accessible

We work directly with low socioeconomic schools to make our programs financially viable — including supporting schools in writing grant applications to fund robotics and STEM education. We believe funding should never be the reason a school misses out.

We bring everything with us

No equipment? No problem. We bring our own fully resourced robotics kits to every session, meaning schools don’t need to invest in expensive hardware to get started. From the robots to the resources, we arrive ready to go — all your school needs to provide is the students.

Inclusive programs for every learner

Our robotics sessions are designed with all learners in mind. We run NDIS-friendly programs aligned with CB09 capacity building outcomes, creating sensory-friendly, supportive environments where children with additional learning needs can thrive alongside their peers.

Taking STEM to regional South Australia

Geography shouldn’t determine opportunity. We are planning dedicated regional weeks where we travel across South Australia, bringing hands-on robotics and STEM programs directly to rural and remote communities that are too often left behind.

Closing the gender gap in STEM

We are committed to breaking down the cultural and systemic barriers that discourage girls from pursuing STEM. With experience running Girls in Tech expos and events, we actively work to ensure young women see themselves as the engineers, coders, and innovators of tomorrow.

Helping schools run it themselves

We didn't set out to be a provider schools depend on forever. Our teacher PD gives educators the tools, lesson plans and confidence to run meaningful robotics and STEM programs on their own, long after we've left the classroom. The best outcome for us is a school that doesn't need us anymore.

Why this matters

The world your students will work in doesn't exist yet. Most of the jobs, technologies and challenges they'll face are still being invented, and the facts they'll need are already a tap away. What isn't a tap away is the ability to use them well.

That's why we treat robotics as the vessel, not the point. Every session is really teaching curiosity, problem solving, and the resilience to keep going when the first build fails. Break a problem into pieces, test a solution, fail, adapt, try again, these are the skills that transfer to every career, every room they'll ever walk into.

For educators, robotics isn't an add-on to the curriculum. It's one of the most effective tools available for building genuine engagement, cross-curricular thinking, and the kind of confidence that follows a child well beyond the classroom.
